Xoxottini started DJing in her teens, with her father who is a DJ and sound technician, from whom much of her 80s references came. She found herself as an artist in Belo Horizonte's electronic scene, taking her first steps as a producer and resident of the Trembase collective. Today, Xoxottini is also a co-founder of the Xxomby party and a resident DJ at Deputamadre Club, being a central and important figure in the Belo Horizonte scene.

In search of sharing her own sensations and reflections, the DJ invites you to a dramatic and timeless experience. A sensitive observer, with the ability to perceive the ambient and quickly adapt, without ever losing sight of her essence, she presents her interpretation of sensual, mysterious, intense, and endearing sounds with great class and versatility. Attitude and strength permeate both the impeccably constructed narratives in her sets and her imposing and serene presence on the dance floor, always maintaining the striking traits of her identity.

Her versatile research travels through Indie Dance, EBM, Trance, Techno, House, and Electro, marking her sets and demonstrating all her strong personality with intense, energetic, and exciting beats.

She has represented the Trembase collective at the UrBeck's Festival in 2022 and at the Belo Horizonte Cultural Turn in 2023 and 2024, performing on the main stage of Praça da Estação for more than 3k people, as well as playing at major parties and club such as D-EDGE, ODD (SP), Pane (POA), Carlos Capslock (SP), MASTERplano (BH), and Mientras Dura (BH). She has also recorded sets for Sexy Dinosaur From Outer Space (Germany), Logia Records (Argentina), Counterterraism (Scotland), and Boudoir Moderne (France).

As a cultural producer, Xoxottini animates the electronic circuit of Belo Horizonte through two projects since 2019, Trembase and Xxomby. Having organized parties for more than 3000 people and hosting artists of great importance in Brazil, such as Urias, Tasha & Tracie, Deize Tigrona and more. In addition, she has participated in events like the Belo Horizonte Cultural Turn in 2023, performing on the largest stage of the circuit located in Praça da Estação, the most important tourist spot in Belo Horizonte. She also represented Trembase at the Urbeck's Festival in 2022, by invitation from one of the most important beverage brands in Brazil, Ambev. In 2024, she lead an electronic trio in one of Brazil's most famous carnivals, alongside her colleagues from Trembase, which received more than 20.000 people.

Currently, Xoxottini also teaches DJing and musical research, having instructed and shared her experiences and techniques with over 30 students. Booking them at the end of the course at Deputamadre Club at nights curated by her.

 

The DJ has performed at various events and nightclubs across the country, winning over a loyal and passionate audience with her music.

She has performed as a DJ at historic locations in the city of Belo Horizonte, including the rooftop of Edifício Acaiaca, which in the 1940s was considered the tallest building in Brazil. She played in two exclusive and sold-out nights at the Trembase party at Acaiaca. She has also performed on the rooftop of P7 Criativo, designed by Oscar Niemeyer, as well as at the Museu de Minas Gerais (Minas Gerais Museum) and Automóvel Clube (Automobile Club).

In addition to her residency at Deputamadre Club, the oldest and most famous club in her city, which was founded over 20 years ago, Xoxottini is also a co-founder with André Ribeiro of the Xxomby party, a gathering point for her loyal audience, known as "Xoxottiners."

Xxomby has been the stage for one of the most anticipated B2Bs (back-to-back performances) for the Xoxottiners, featuring one of her great influences and someone she considers one of the best DJs in Brazil, Vermelho. Additionally, Xoxottini has collaborated with other prominent names for B2Bs, such as Zopelar, Delcu, Jota Januzzi, and Carol Mattos, the latter being a significant partner for recurring B2Bs. Nyxes is now the name of Xoxottini and Carol Mattos' latest project.
